Samsung Cooking Theatre

Come along for an interactive live cooking session with Simon Levy, Head Chef of Iniati, in the Samsung Cooking Theatre at the 2020 Canterbury Home Show!

 

Simon will take a funky twist on some traditional favourites, showcasing the beautiful and sustainably sourced produce our region has to offer, using Samsung’s superb range of kitchen appliances!

FRIDAY 16 OCTOBER

11.00am, 1.00pm and 3.00pm

Grouper poached in crayfish liquor with foraged herbs 

Firstly, Simon will cut and prepare a whole fish to show case how and what can be done.

Then he’ll start with a raw fish dish, with grouper, burnt orange & kawa kawa and follow up with a delicious grouper poached in crayfish liquor, with foraged herbs.

SATURDAY 17 OCTOBER

11.00am, 1.00pm and 3.00pm

Black organ wagu beef, with black garlic & burnt leeks

On Saturday Simon will showcase multi cuts of wagu beef; using the beef cheek, neck and maybe some heart and rib or fillet so he can use the stove for searing and boiling, and the oven for roasting. He might even have time for a cheeky pie!

SUNDAY 18 OCTOBER

11.00am and 1.30pm

Bostock roast chicken carcass with all the chicken trimmings (Simon’s favourite!)
